Mitchell Ascione
Vice President, Head of Affiliations and Registration, Commissions, Operations and Service
Mitch Ascione is a Vice President of New York Life and the COO of Eagle Strategies, a subsidiary of New York Life, responsible for the Affiliations and Registration, Commissions, Operations and Service, and the Operational Strategy Teams.
Mitch has over 30 years of experience with New York Life and over 35 years of experience in the brokerage industry. Before joining the Eagle team, Mitch served as Vice President in the Insurance & Agency Group where he led Inforce Service and Operations for Registered Products and Annuities. His areas included NYLIFE Securities Service Operations, Call Centers and Inforce Service for Variable Products and Fixed Annuities.
He began his New York Life career with NYLIFE Securities where he had responsibility for operations and brokerage services. In 2007, Mitch assumed the additional responsibility of leading the Variable Product Service Center and in 2009 was promoted to Vice President of Registered Products Service. Prior to joining New York Life, he worked for five years at Smith Barney.
Mitch earned his FINRA Series 4,7,24, 53, 55 and 63 licenses and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stony Brook University.
